Product Technical Description

CNC Vertical Machining Center Model IGM VMC 1160

The IGM VMC 1160 is a CNC vertical machining center with various capabilities. Thanks to its robust cast iron structure and high-quality dynamic components, it delivers outstanding performance in all types of basic machining with high precision. This machine is especially suitable for producing complex and precise parts in industries that require superior accuracy.

Build Quality and Design

The IGM VMC 1160 is entirely constructed from GG30 cast iron, providing a solid and sturdy framework. All body parts are manufactured in-factory to ensure tight quality control. To reduce stress and increase the machine's lifespan, the cast components undergo heat treatment. This process helps maintain the machine's performance over the long term.

For improved accuracy and performance, parts are precisely machined using advanced equipment, and guidance and installation are carried out with high precision.

Key Features and Specifications

  • 55 mm Linear Guideways: These increase axis concentration and reduce the chance of slippage during operation.
  • 14 High-Stability Roller Carriages: High-performance roller carriages enhance the machine's stability in motion and minimize unwanted vibrations.
  • Dynamic and Rigid Construction: The machine's strong and rigid body helps resist vibrations.
  • Main Body Cast Iron: This feature gives the machine both strength and longer service life.
  • Spindle at 12,000 RPM: The high-speed spindle allows the machine to perform complex and precise operations.

Performance and Applications

With a combination of various couplings, rotary systems, measuring gauges, and automatic tool changers, the IGM VMC 1160 can produce high-precision, high-quality components. This machine serves a wide range of industries, including automotive parts production, industrial tooling, electronics, and many others.

Given its advanced and well-structured features, this machine is the ideal choice for tackling challenging machining tasks that demand both high speed and accuracy.
