Product Technical Description

5-Axis Gantry Type Monoblock Milling Machine

The Igrek Machine Tool IGM FR 3500 is entirely constructed from GG30 cast iron, sourced from our own foundry. A stress-relieving heat treatment is applied to the castings to ensure their stability. The body parts are then machined on high-precision milling machines, and the linear guide mounting surfaces are ground to achieve the highest accuracy.

Advanced Cooling and Measurement Systems

All axes are water-cooled to minimize thermal distortion during movement, especially in areas with dynamic components. This cooling system operates efficiently in these critical zones to prevent any thermal differentiation that could impact the machine’s performance. The special casting technique used in this system is patented.

The components are measured and assembled using state-of-the-art equipment, including the Renishaw Laser Interferometer, Niveltronic devices with Bluetooth communication, Atos 3D Scanner, and certified granite gauge blocks. This ensures that every part is precisely fabricated and assembled to meet high-quality standards.

High-Performance Axis Drive Systems

The axis drive systems consist of high-quality linear guideways, servo motors, gear units, and rack-and-pinion gear systems. Each axis is equipped with absolute measuring scales for enhanced accuracy. We have carefully selected top-tier pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components to guarantee the highest reliability and performance.

Exceptional Stability and Design Features

The monoblock design of the machine ensures superior stability and accuracy. The entire design undergoes dynamic, static, stress, vibration, and fatigue analysis using finite element methods. Production is carefully planned based on these analyses to ensure the highest quality in every machine.
