Introduction to Shahre Beton Block Section

The "Block" section of Shahre Beton is a complete collection of prefabricated building blocks, produced industrially and in accordance with standards for walling, partitioning, and non-load-bearing structural elements. This family includes cement blocks, lightweight and ultralight blocks, and specialized subgroups such as LECA blocks, AAC blocks, and CLC blocks. The goal is to reduce structural weight, increase construction speed, improve insulation, and optimize project costs.

Block Product Categories

• Cement Blocks: Made of water, Portland cement, and aggregates; available in solid and hollow types with standard modular sizes from 40×20×10 to 40×30×20 cm, and density classes from about 500 to 2000 kg/m³.
• Lightweight and Ultra-light Blocks: A subgroup aimed at reducing dead load and speeding up installation; includes LECA, AAC, and CLC blocks, each with different applications and behaviors.
• LECA Block: Made from "expanded clay aggregates"; low weight, thermal and sound insulation, good resistance to moisture and freezing. Wide range of types (three to eight-wall, Thermo-block, super sound) and standard sizes around 20×49 cm.
• AAC Block: "Autoclaved Aerated Concrete" with 60 to 80% porosity; extremely lightweight, excellent thermal and sound insulation, fireproof, can be cut and installed quickly. Standard sizes from 600×200×100 to 600×300×250 mm.
• CLC Block: "Cellular lightweight concrete/foam concrete" produced similarly to regular concrete; lightweight, cost-effective, sound and heat insulator, relatively lower water absorption, suitable for interior partitioning and non-load-bearing flooring. Common sizes 600×200×100/150/200/250 mm.

• LECA Block: Best combination of lightness, insulation, and environmental durability; recommended for walls in residential, educational, cultural centers, and cold regions.
• AAC Block: Maximum lightness and installation speed, superior insulation, and dry installation with thin mortar; suitable for high-rise structures and internal partitions. Not recommended for direct load-bearing.
• CLC Block: Cost-effective solution for partitions and non-load-bearing flooring; low to medium density and continuous installation advantages.
