Two-ply and multi-ply yarns from Khoy Textile are spun from two or more twisted yarn strands to enhance the strength, thickness, and durability of the fabric.
Ideal for heavy fabrics, denim, and durable clothing featuring high longevity and uniform texture.
Khoy Textile's spinning unit, utilizing advanced European equipment, produces various types of two-ply and multi-ply yarns to meet the needs of strong and durable fabrics. These yarns, made by twisting two or more strands together, maximize strength, thickness, and fabric uniformity.

Khoy Textile Factories
Khoi Textile Factories (Public Joint Stock Company) was established in 1984 with investment from the Bank of Industry and Mines, at the heart of one of the most important industrial hubs in northwest Iran. The aim of founding this complex was to create a fully integrated textile manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of 4,300 tons of yarn and over 10 million meters of finished fabric (apparel, denim, shirting, etc.), as well as generating jobs for about 1,000 skilled workers.
The factory’s geographic location is one of its key strategic advantages. Khoi Textile is situated about 150 kilometers from the centers of West and East Azerbaijan provinces and is accessible in less than two hours by car. In addition, land and air access from Tehran via Tabriz and Urmia routes can be made in less than four hours.
The factory’s proximity to international borders has greatly facilitated export routes:
This exceptional geographic location has turned Khoi Textile into one of the key players in exporting fabrics and yarns from Iran to neighboring countries.
In the 1990s, with a 34 million Deutsche Mark foreign finance facility, some of the most advanced spinning and weaving machinery from leading Swiss and German brands was purchased and imported. The process of shipping, customs clearance, and installation began in 1992 and was completed by 1994. Thereafter, trial production and then mass production commenced. The spinning department officially started in November 1994 and, in September 1995, was officially inaugurated in full operation by then-president Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani. Additionally, as part of ongoing development, with the purchase of 180 weaving machines from Ghadir Factory, the weaving department was launched in 1997 and integrated into the production cycle.
The study and implementation of the denim fabric production project began in 1998 and came into operation in June 2002. This project involved installing the most advanced European equipment from renowned brands such as:
This project marked a turning point in expanding the factory’s output and its more prominent presence in export markets.
In the weaving preparation department, a collection of section warping machines and sizing systems from Germany is in operation and plays a key role in preparing yarns for the weaving process. The installation of a state-of-the-art sizing machine made in Germany in 2008 is underway, which, once operational, will greatly enhance the capacity and accuracy of this section. Alongside these machines, the indigo unit, using modern dyeing technologies, enables the production of denim fabrics in various colors, especially navy and black—fabrics that, in terms of quality, colorfastness, and texture, can compete with international samples and have elevated the position of domestic textile production.
Khoi Textile Factory is recognized not only as one of the largest industrial plants in the northwest of the country but also as a central driver of the economy in West Azerbaijan province and the Khoi region. Since its establishment, the factory has created direct employment for hundreds of skilled workers and indirect employment for hundreds more in areas such as logistics, raw material supply, technical services, and commerce, playing a vital role in sustainable regional development.
Relying on up-to-date European technology and several decades of industrial experience, the factory has established itself as one of the reputable suppliers of high-quality fabrics in both domestic and international markets. The ongoing export of products to countries such as Turkey, Armenia, Iraq, and Russia demonstrates the company’s strong competitive standing internationally. In addition, through collaborations with local universities and technical centers, Khoi Textile, as a key industrial unit, plays an effective role in human resource training and promoting the technical expertise of Iran’s textile industry.
