In 2011, Yves Rocher entered the Iraqi market through the Al-Jamal Al-Akhdar Company, quickly gaining widespread recognition for its commitment to natural beauty. Our Heritage

• 1930 - The birth of a nature lover 
  

  Yves Rocher was born in La Gacilly, Brittany. After losing his father at a young age, he found solace in the surrounding forests. His bond with nature led him to create a handcrafted cream from fig root — the beginning of botanical beauty.

• 1959 - The Birth of the Brand 
  

  From a small lab in his parents’ attic, Yves Rocher revolutionized skincare by launching a direct mail-order model. His dream: making plant-based beauty available to millions of women.

• 1973 - A Skincare Icon Is Born
  

  The launch of "Riche Crème Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream" marked a turning point. Packed with precious oils, it became a timeless favorite — with one unit sold every five seconds globally, even after five decades.

• 1975 - Botanical Garden in La Gacilly

  We created an open-air lab with 1,500 plant species, joining BGCI (Botanic Gardens Conservation International) to share knowledge and foster innovation in plant research.

• 1979 -From Fields to Skin
