With a heritage dating back 90 years, Vana is a leading furniture brand in Iraq. For three generations, we've remained at the forefront of the industry, partnering with renowned global manufacturers and designers. Our extensive experience extends beyond product design to encompass storage, distribution, and logistics, both in Iraq and internationally. This commitment to excellence is solidified by our state-of-the-art warehouse, which features a racking system for efficient product organization. We also utilize 120 forty-foot containers, allowing us to consolidate bulky purchases within a single container for easier handling in both our warehouse and during international shipping. For domestic deliveries, we maintain a fleet of ten specially designed trucks to ensure furniture arrives safely and on time at our customers' doorsteps.

Our Family's Furniture Legacy

Nestled in the heart of Erbil, our family's journey in the world of furniture began in 1934 with my grandfather, Haj Jalal, a skilled carpenter with a dream. Starting from a humble 15-meter workshop, he laid the foundation for what would become a flourishing family tradition. Over the decades, our passion for craftsmanship grew, expanding beyond Iraq to countries such as Turkey, Japan, and China, under the guidance of my father, Haj Mekdad Jalal.

In 1995, after the loss of my father, I took the reins of our family business, 'Sindbad for Furniture,' and embarked on a mission to innovate and expand. Honoring the values passed down through generations, I transformed our operations, focusing on importing the finest materials and maintaining our commitment to quality and tradition.

 By 2000, our journey took a significant turn as I established 'Imad Mekdad Holding,' a company dedicated to bringing the world’s best furniture brands to Iraq. With the largest modern warehouse in the country and a network of exhibitions, we continue to offer exceptional quality, fair prices, and unparalleled service.

 Today, our ambition goes beyond Iraq as we aim to create the largest furniture center in the region, driven by our rich heritage and unwavering dedication. Our story is one of hard work, resilience, and a deep belief in the power of family values to achieve lasting success.
