History of Dorsa

Shahin Fatemi and Amir Kazem Noor Mohammadi, the founders of Dorsa, succeeded in laying the foundations of the Dorsa brand in their early youth, focusing on products made from natural leather. After three decades of effort and creative thinking, they strengthened Dorsa's roots by creating the Dorsa House, Dorsa Jewelry, and Dorsa Café brands. They defined their brand mission as building the lifestyle of the future Tehran.

  • The First Decade of Dorsa's Life was marked by producing leather goods in a 15-square-meter workshop. Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and passion for production motivate young entrepreneurs every day. Thus, they managed to inaugurate a 2,000-square-meter factory in 1999 and ended this decade with the development of targeted production.
  • The Second Decade of Dorsa's Life began with a focus on brand development and sales-oriented thinking. In this context, Dorsa products were offered in the first specialized leather store named Dorsa in Tehran. In this decade, Dorsa expanded its retail stores across various regions of Iran.
  • Dorsa's leaders knew that gaining a prestigious position in the minds of Iranian consumers required further development. Therefore, they began upgrading production technology, hiring and training skilled personnel, and designing products suitable for today's lifestyle. This strategic thinking helped Dorsa become a pioneering brand in the fields of leather and fashion.
  • The Third Decade of Dorsa's Life began with studying consumer behavior. In the early years of this decade, the fusion of leather and gold for the modern generation led to the creation of the Dorsa Taj brand. The biggest step in Dorsa's third decade was the start of a joint venture with the international brand Swarovski. In 2016, Dorsa became the first lifestyle brand in the Middle East to hold the Swarovski license and, by combining crystal and authentic Iranian leather, began creating exclusive jewelry. This valuable collaboration marked the first chapter of Dorsa's journey into the global market and helped establish its international reputation.

Dorsa House

The demand from Iranian consumers for modern and luxurious homes led Dorsa to design beautiful homes. Through knowledge, art, and technology, the Dorsa House brand was created to suit today's lifestyle. Simultaneously with the launch of Dorsa House, Dorsa Café was created to offer a delightful taste of life in a peaceful environment that creates wonderful memories amidst the bustling life of Tehran.

On the other hand, Dorsa, in this intellectual decade, seeks to reproduce the beauty and authenticity that exists in our culture and civilization, spreading an idea across the world that forces the world to pay closer attention. For this reason, "Dal" was created. In this decade, Dorsa is not just selling products to its customers, but rather offering an idea of authenticity, which is reflected in the entire spirit of Dorsa.
